Greater Swiss Mountain Club of America & AKC sanctioned Working Pack Dog Hike.

This hike qualifies toward a GSMDCA Working Pack Dog title.

• Meet and park at Girsh Park. Last parking lot on Phelps Rd. Bathroom and water there.

• Walk about 1/4 mile along Phelps Rd. to the North Campus Open Space Marsh Trail.

• Along the Marsh Trail to Deveraux Slough trail, and then to Coal Oil Point Preserve.

• Northwest along the beach and Snowy Plover Habitat to the Bluffs Overlook Trail access.

• Along the Sperling Preserve at Ellwood Mesa, and then North to Santa Barbara Shores Park. Porta Potty available.

• Hike is an out & back, return is by the same route.
